Backland Tour is a lightweight and user-friendly binding for ski mountaineering and ski touring. The Backland Tour ski safety binding is of the TLT (tour lite tech) type, i.e. with pins and is equipped with brakes. The advantage is easy control of the heel rests with poles and simple entry into the binding.

Product detailed description

A comfortable and really light technical binding for alpine touring. Like all Backland equipment, it is incredibly durable, easy to use: it is equipped with a patented step at the front, so the boot is automatically positioned to snap in. The heel tower works separately, so with one easy click you can choose between 0°, 7° and 13° positions. The Backland Tour is an exceptional binding thanks to its wide 40mm fit for maximum power transfer on wide skis (which also reduces the risk of bolts pulling out). With brakes, it weighs just 398g per pair, is compatible with standard crampons and has a long sole length adjustment of 30mm.

Heel
3 release value options: "Women", "Men" and "Expert" are available by replacing the included springs.
Independent brake locking: The brakes lock with a pawl and are not dependent on the heel twist.
Tour mode
Three climbing levels: Flat, medium and high climbing levels are realized by flipping the corresponding jack.
The jacks always point forward: The heel body rotates under the upper binding plate.
Toe lock lever: To retract, lock in position "up".
