2023 is a very special year for Völkl. In 100 years, the Bavarian company has developed into the largest and today the only German mass production of skis. The celebration of this milestone was enhanced by two skis from the limited Years LTD Edition: Racetiger SL and M6 Mantra 100.
Only 1,923 pairs of each model will be available - why 1,923? Guess! The first part of the edition is not for sale, skis could only be won. However, more will soon be available in selected Völkl stores. And it is worth paying attention to, because it is, without exaggeration, an investment ski. Each pair is unique and bears a plaque with a stamped production number: i.e. 1 to 1923. On the binding plate you will find the 100 years logo and on the slide the signatures of all the people who participated in their production. Specifically, the signatures document how many human-factor manufacturing steps are required to make a ski – more than 125.

Völkl has been celebrating success with the Racetiger SL slalom for more than 50 years. Even the design of the 100-year edition skis is reminiscent of the legendary zebra design that caused a stir in the design world in 1967 – although, as is often the case, it was ridiculed before it became a hit. The Racetiger SL has the most radical radius in the entire collection, so if you love short turning radii, you don't have to have a ski only on display.
