ZLÍN – Ski service, equipment rental and winter sports equipment store AVEX SKI is expanding its opening hours to include Advent Sundays before Christmas. Why? The season is starting and interest is high. “The service and store are running at full capacity, and we want to accommodate our customers,” announces Adéla Zelenková. Every Advent Sunday at Smetanova Street 2401 will be open from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
To the service and rental shop between the holidays?
If you want to rent equipment for winter sports between the holidays – for example for a day of fun in the snow – be careful. Opening hours between the holidays at AVEX SKI are as follows:

Gifts for skiers, snowboarders, cross-country skiers and ski mountaineers
Gloves, helmets, goggles, skis, poles, clothing and other accessories – customers can buy gifts here for every winter sports lover. "We can also issue gift vouchers in predetermined amounts or in the amount that the customer needs," says Robert Šperka, giving a thumbs up to "tailor-made" gift vouchers. These can be purchased online and in the store until December 23, 2025 at 5 p.m.
Extended warranty for unsuitable gifts
This year, customers don't have to worry about making a mistake either. AVEX SKI is extending the warranty for the return or exchange of goods purchased during December 2025 for Christmas gifts until January 14, 2026.

"We provide our customers with maximum care when choosing equipment. The service and rental application, or a phone call in advance, helps us a lot with this, thanks to which we are able to coordinate time options and plan the purchase," revealed Šperka.
New chairlift in Karolinka and ski testing
AVEX SKI has traditionally been actively involved in events on the slopes. This year, on Saturday, December 13, he will be at the ceremonial launch of the new chairlift in Karolinka. The AVEX SKI team will offer popular VIP ski testing right on site, including skis from Atomic, Head, Lusti, Völkl and others.
