Carving short and dynamic ski turns is an art like no other. It requires the utmost level of confidence in your equipment. The Elan SLX S Fusion X sports skis provide this much-needed confidence thanks to the use of Ace Arrow technology. This technology combines the enhanced Fusion X binding system, which increases the reactions in the tips of the skis, with two layers of titanal. The titanal layers are narrowed to about 5cm wide in the SLX S model and the upper titanal plate is also shortened to only the middle of the ski (about 20cm in front and behind the bindings). The skis are therefore about 30% softer than the classic SLX model. The R² FRAME wood core with a construction of two layers of shortened titanal ensures direct power transfer, stability and edge control, and the RST sidewalls ensure precision. The result is an agile ski for short turns with an easier entry that perfectly connects your slalom turns throughout the ride without losing energy.
