    - Údaje o teplotě na nastavovacím kolečku neodpovídají realitě. Navíc má kolečko vůli při otáčení vlevo a vpravo, takže nevíte, jaká teplota je vlastně nastavená. - Značné kolísání teploty vlivem malé tepelné kapacity žehlící plochy (tenká deska) a větší hystereze spínání. - Žehlící plocha nemá náběhové hrany, což ztěžuje posun žehličky po vosku.
