The POC Fornix BC MIPS helmet is a lightweight, aramid-reinforced and well-ventilated helmet based on the award-winning all-mountain Fornix model. The helmet is also equipped with the patented MIPS system, which reduces rotational forces acting on the brain in the event of an oblique impact. The tensile strength of the aramid fibers is very high, and when combined with the helmet structure, it allows the impact energy to be dispersed throughout the entire aramid “bridge”. This makes the helmet much better at absorbing impacts and protecting the skier in the event of a fall. The Fornix BC is generously ventilated and the size adjustment system ensures that the helmet sits securely on the head and can be adjusted to the circumference of your head.
