The Swix Gunde ski cap was first introduced in 1974 as a marketing ploy. The colored stripes around the cap represented the wax palette of the time. The cap was named after the 6-time Olympic medalist, Swedish cross-country skier, Gunde Svan. This "retro" cap is recognizable to every cross-country ski fan and is the perfect Christmas gift for any skier.
