- V40 blue extra - the most popular of the V series waxes, covering a wide range of temperatures below freezing (fresh snow from -1°C to -7°C, old fine-grained snow from -3°C to -10°C)
- V45 purple special - used in a thin layer when the V40 blue extra wax starts to slip (fresh snow from 0°C to -3°C, old fine-grained snow from -2°C to -6°C)
- V55 red special - for damp fresh snow from +1°C to 0°C and for old fine-grained snow from 0°C to - 2°C
