The eyelets are made of strong, tough steel and chrome-plated - they will not rust.
The belt is attached to the eyelet:
a/ by pulling the belt about 5-6 cm through the lower eyelet, folding it over and then gluing the adhesive sides together.
b/ by pulling the belt about 2-3 cm through the lower eyelet, folding it over and riveting the belt - 2-3 rivets.
Determining the optimal eyelet size - the "fit" of the eyelet must be about 15 - 25 mm from the tip of the ski - this will prevent unwanted kickbacks.
The inner depth of the eyelet is about 17 mm.
